The Agria Irish Eventing Team has been named for the CCIO4*S Nations Cup in Arville, Belgium, this weekend.

Horse Sport Ireland High Performance Eventing Director Dag Albert has chosen a blend of youth and experience, with Paris Olympics combination Aoife Clark and Sportsfield Freelance joining Molly Evans with Wellan Graffiti (ISH) and Danielle McCormack with Hildare Billy Orinoco in the team, both of whom are making their senior Nations Cup debuts.

Albert said: “I’m delighted we’re going to be competing at Arville this weekend, and I’m really looking forward to the new combinations stepping up to senior level.

“Molly and Danielle have been in good form and they deserve their places in the team, while Aoife was in Paris for the Olympics and she jumped great on Sportsfield Freelance when she came in to replace Sarah.

“As always, it’s a great honour for us to be competing at nations cup level and I can’t wait to see how we get on.”

The action from Arville begins on Thursday and will run through until Sunday, finishing up with the cross country phase – keep an eye on HSI’s social media platforms for updates.
